Abstract

This article discusses the organization of independent learning based on the competency-based approach in teaching mathematics in higher education. The study analyzes the role of independent learning in developing students’ mathematical competence, as well as the potential of modern pedagogical technologies and interactive methods. In addition, a methodological model for the effective organization of independent learning in teaching mathematical disciplines was developed, and practical recommendations were proposed.
