Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of biotechnology content on developing the creative thinking of 9th–11th grade students in Uzbekistan, based on constructivism, problem-based learning (PBL), and transdisciplinary approaches. A pedagogical experiment conducted across three regions (360 students) showed a statistically significant advantage for the experimental groups over the control groups, with overall success rates at 83.1% versus 74.9%, respectively (p < 0,001). The optimal conditions for integrating biotechnology into the curriculum were identified to foster 21st-century skills, and methodological recommendations for implementing these modules were proposed.
