Abstract

This article discusses the importance of professionally oriented tasks in developing the communicative competence of economics students. It analyzes the role of tasks based on professional situations in helping students use economic terminology correctly in English, express their ideas clearly and logically, participate in business communication, conduct negotiations, and deliver presentations. The article also emphasizes that professionally oriented tasks connect English language learning with students’ future professional activities and prepare them for real communicative situations in the field of economics.
