This article examines the improvement of the methodology for developing professional competence in electrical safety among future power engineering students on the example of the subject “Electrical Safety and Reliability”. In modern power systems, the intensive use of electrical equipment, high-voltage systems, automation and digital control tools requires not only theoretical knowledge from specialists, but also practical competencies such as risk assessment, operational decision-making, correct actions in emergency situations, and strict compliance with labor protection standards.
